4Akustik® panels are manufactured from medium density fibreboard (MDF) which is machined into a scientifically developed sound absorbent. It works on the Helmholz resonator principal, ie. a high number of holes milled into the MDF in which sound waves dissipate. These resonators are extremely effective in the absorption of medium range frequencies.
Between the 4Akustik® panels and the wall to which it is applied, a layer of acoustic wool, 30mm thick, is installed. The acoustic wool with its porous texture absorbs higher range frequencies. The combination of medium and high frequency absorbers reduce reverberation by up to 90%, making it one of the best solutions to address poor acoustics in the workplace.
4Akustik® panels comply with the highest global health and safety standards and are E1 certified for use in an office environment, i.e., compliant with European standards of formaldehyde content.
